Client requirement
Canpack management wanted to introduce CCTV surveillance to monitor production processes and to ensure Health and Safety policies were being followed.
Visit Details
This requirement was understood by our engineers at Techbean and visited site for thorough designing of the system. After analyzing analogue, hybrid and IP based CCTV systems, the management zeroed in on IP based system. They selected IP because it allowed them to easily integrate CCTV with their existing network while benefiting from cost-saving technologies such as PoE (Power over Ethernet), UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies), break-free recording with 100% fail proof redundancy and support for the latest megapixel camera resolution that is only available with IP cameras.
Solution
Techbean team was equipped with a long experience to cater to any surveillance needs for any business vertical analyzed the client requirement and suggested a solution. The team decided to place cameras in entryways and exits of manufacturing areas and different workshops. HD cameras were installed in shipping/receiving areas to capture a good shot of each visitor who entered the plant.
Techbean team made sure cameras in open areas like work floors and storage areas are covered comprehensively by cameras in each corner, or by dome cameras mounted on the ceiling.
The team covered more sensitive areas (e.g. perimeter, line machinery, valuable raw materials material in out gate, etc) with vandal and weatherproof HD cameras.

Handover process
In Handover process of CCTV Surveillance System, the whole system was demonstrated for monitoring and exporting the recorded footage from the camera. All agreed features on CCTV Surveillance System were tested in the presence of site in charge. Subsequently the engineering and services team were trained for all features of CCTV Surveillance System. This training session was basically a practical hands-on session of Surveillance System with maximum interaction from client side.
Handover document was submitted to the customer, it includes the detailed logic description of all systems, system architecture and layout, SLD, operation & maintenance manual, supplier & service center details and Escalation list of service team.
